Hi all...

I am trying to figure out how to build a formula in Excel.  What I want to
do is to be able to calculate a loan value.  I know the interest rate, the #
of payments and the month principle and interest payment I want to make.  I
am essentially trying to figure out how much house I can afford.  Is there a
way to do this in Excel?

Thanks

Jeff

Take a look at the PV() function in XL Help.
