For reasons unknown (possibly an automatic background update) the
toolbars in Excel 2003 went walkabout.  Have restored the Standard and
Formatting toolbars but the area which used to include the active cell
by name or reference (far left), the "Fx" function icon and the content
of the actice cell, etc after the Font ID, now only includes the Font

How to restore what I perceive as "Standard" settings, please? Have
tried "Help", but seemingly I can't phrase the question correctly!

Click View on the menubar and make sure Formula Bar is checked.  Also make
sure Full Screen doesn't have a box around its icon on the same menu.
