I'm running Excel from Office 2004 for the Mac. Fairly frequently, the
formula bar gets "scrunched up" so I can't read the bottom line if I have
more than one line. I can fix this temporarily by selecting VIEW>FORMULA
BAR, to turn it off, then I turn it on again. But the problem returns. I'm
not sure if it returns during a session, but it frequently returns when I
open Excel again. Any suggestions?

J.E. McGimpsey may have some relevant information at

If that doesn't help, post a message in the relevant newsgroup
microsoft.public.mac.office.excel
after using groups.google.com to search that newsgroup for relevant postings
from the past.
