Microsoft Excel 2007 only cannot load

hi can anybody find a solution for the problem. I use office excel
2007 for 3 month without any problem. But now i cannot load excel
2007 ONLY. Other office software is loading correctly.

When i load excel 2007, a window appear with the following
information:

Microsft office excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience.

The information you were working on might be lost. Microsft office
excel can try to recover it for you.

Recover my work and restart Microsft office excel.

When i click on D'nt send, the error windows close and reappear. So
preventing excel to load further.
When i click on D'nt send and remove the tick just before "Recover my
work and restart Microsft office excel" then the error window close
completely and excel 2007 never load.

I remove completely office 2007 and install it three times. I scan my
PC with Norton but that remain the same.

First I'd try rolling back to Excel's default settings. With Excel closed,
run Regedit.exe (Start->Run) and go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Options

Press F2 and change the name of Options to OptionsX.

Try running Excel. If it's okay great otherwise refresh Regedit by pressing
F5, delete the new Options key if Excel created it, and rename OptionsX back
to Options and close Regedit. (All this with Excel closed).

Next try eliminating possibly corrupt auto loading files in XLSTART. With
Excel closed go to your two XLSTART folders and move out any files you find
there. One XLSTART is under your Office installation folder and the other
is usually here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

Then try running Excel. If it works and if you moved out more than on file
you might try adding them back until you find the problem file.

Hi Mr Rech

Thanks for your answers. Thats work. I can start my excel normally
now.

In fact when i change "option" to "optionX" and load Excel, that
permit me to get access to Excel on Safe mode only.

I use your second option where I remove a file which suppose to be
corrupt in XLSTART ( C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>
\Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART ).

The name which i delete was NITRO pdf with an extention of "Microsoft
Office Add in" of 290 KB.

I think i download and instal NITRO pdf convert software, then i
problem arise.
