Great fun: the Action menu

Hi,

Perhaps this topic has been discussed before but ... There is
a mysterious, spooky menu in the CommandBars.ActiveMenuBar
on position 8: the menu Action. ;-)

Why? What is it to be used for? Why can't I make it visible?

The only clue I can think of is that it is a kind of dummy for the
Chart menu after selecting a chart.

I believe it is there to provide support for Lotus Notes.
