Excel 97 SR-1 keeps giving me an error that it cannot save a certain file so
it creates a temporary one that I can open and re-save. Only doing it with
one specific worksheet that is about 20kb in size. I get the error message
about every 10 entries. Strictly columns with numbers, no graphs, nothing
else. The file is saved on my desktop if that makes a difference. Any ideas
what to look for? Running XP SP-2 Home Edition . Thanks, Steve T.

The file may have a problem:

1. open your file
2. open a new fresh workbook
3. copy each of the old workbook into the new workbook
4. try to save the new workbook
5. if this works, consider just using the new workbook in place of the old.
