I feel stupid asking this but there is a point. How can I type content
in one cell and it comes up in another cell without the 0 showing up.
e.g  If I type something in A1 to be copyed to C3 I would type in C3
"=A1" right... But then this 0 pops up. I just want it blank in the
box unless I type something in A1.

Thanks in advance.

John

Thanks, Yes I got that, but what about if it in not a number but a
name? It pops up with this #VALUE! with numbers it works fine but not
if its a name

Hi

It shouldn't make any difference.
What was suggested was saying if there is nothing in the source cell, don't
copy anything to the destination, otherwise copy the contents of the source
cell.
It has nothing to do with what the content of the source cell is, either
Text or Numeric..

You must have some other problem.
Post exactly what is in each of the cells that work, and those that don't
work, and what formula you are using for each.
