Hi,
Have formulas in an Excel sheet. Protected the sheet to avoid changing
formulas by mistake or deleting them.
The problem now is that Auto Filter doesn't work!!
Any solution??

Tools|Protection|Protect sheet
Make sure you check the "allow autofilter" option.

What does "autofilter not active" mean?

I could still filter any range by any field and any value--as long as the filter
was already applied to the range before the worksheet protection was done.

I use xl2003.  Are you sure you're using xl2002+?

You are right, I tried the filtering AFTER the protection and NOT BEFORE it.
Now it workd fine.
Thanks
