how can i susbstitute the symboals like '-' or¡®#¡¯ in the cell?

hi,
till now ,the excel only support substitute the text in the cell,as we can
use SUBSTITUE function.
But if i want to substitue the symboals like ¡®-¡¯ or¡®#'£¬how can i do?

What was wrong with using the SUBSTITUTE function?

e.g.

=SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","®",1)

Try Edit > Replace, and follow the menu
