Hi,

I imported data from the internet and got a list that I wanted as one
column into the first row. That means, that each name is in a new
column...

Is there a simple way to turn a row into a column?

Thanks, Shelley.

Highlight the data you want to swap and click <copy>, then move your
cursor to where you want the data to be moved to (it must be outside
the area occupied by the current data, eg if the data is in row 1,
then move cursor to A2, or A3). Click on Edit | Paste Special | Values
(check) | Transpose (check) | OK then press <Esc>.

Then you can delete the row where the current data is, if you want to.

Hope this helps.

Pete
