I have a multi-page spreadsheet and wished to insert a new page, copy
from previous page and make appropiate changes.
Grump.
1) The print page size was different.
2) The "selected" print range was different.
3) I had two print pages in the source, but only one showed in the
"copy"; what a bitch to fix that!
4) The source had no visible or printable "borders" *anywhere*; the
"copy" had them *everywhere*.
5) Using "format" i have been able to remove the printabe "borders" but
can find no way to remove their visibility on the screen.
"Excel" surely DOES NOT.
How in the *(&%*)#*(^! do i fix that???
AFAIK it is Excel 2000.

An easy way to copy a sheet with all it's formatting. Right-click the sheet
tab, select 'Move or Copy' from the pop-up context menu, make sure that the
'Create a copy' checkbox is checked and click 'Ok'.

That works like a champ; all i had to do was a bit of fiddling around
with the tab pop-up and "it is obvious if i was not so stupid and
ignorant" would be right there!
Naturally, i find it impossible to put borders around all cells with
"format" - unless i do every g-damn one of them at a time.
So there is a "global" border format problem!

To copy a worksheet: press CTRL and click the worksheet tab and drag the
workseet tab to the left or right and release. You will have an exact copy.

That *also* works like a champ.

OK; i now have two ways to try to make a decent copy.
But i now have a fair amount of time invested in changes to that new
worksheet.
Is there any way to get rid of the visible border lines in that sheet?

If you are talking about formatted borders, try selecting all the
cells and clicking on Format>Cells>Border>None.
If you are talking about the grid lines, try unchecking
Tools>Options>View>Gridlines.

** Has absolutely *NO* effect visually or print-wise (either with border
or without = none).

Grid lines?
Something new?
Will piddle around and see; maybe that is the visual problem.
