VBA-referencing sub-menus in code

Please let me have a sample code for referencing a sub-menu. I have
created sub-menus, but I now need to add items to them. This works for
first level menu items. How to make it work for 2nd or 3rd level menu
items?

Take a look at John's menu builder, it goes to 3 levels and makes life
