Added page won't incorporate into original spreadsheet Excel 2003

I have a 3 page spreadsheet in Excel 2003 that I have used for years.  The
footer has automatic page numbering in it.  I hit file>print and it prints
the 3 pages number 1 through 3.  I need more space so I inserted a Page
Break near the end of page 3 and set up the stuff for what I thought would
be page 4.
It looks good on the monitor but when I go to print, it only prints pages
1-3 and not 4.  If I highlight the cells that are intended to print as page
4, it will print them on one sheet but it numbers it as page 1 of 1.

I can get the thing printed but it is a 2 step process.  Somehow the page I
added is not being considered as the 4th page of the original spreadsheet.

This is a little perplexing to me.  I'm not really experienced with Excel
and I suspect it has something to do with workbooks/sheets, or something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you have your print paramets set to print All pages or just pages 1
through 3?

I have it set to "All Pages"  and then for "What to Print" I've tried them
all, i.e. selection, active sheets, and entire workbook.

I've tried all the options and combinations I can on the print menu.

Think I found the answer.  Highlight everything you want to print (i.e. all
4 pages in this case) then click of FILE>PRINT AREA> SET PRINT AREA  and it
will then do the pagination and print all four pages and treat the thing as
one document.

I would think there would be an easier way.

Would have been better if you had stuck with the same thread so people would not
still be answering there.

Clear your original print area then establish a new print area.

File>Print Area>Clear Print Area

Select the area to print then File>Set Print Area

Gord,
You said: "Would have been better if you had stuck with the same thread so

I only got one reply and that was from "Tyro" and it was an attempt to help
but it didn't work.  I had not posted any other threads nor on any other
lists.
I figured it out on my own, by luck, and it was the way you recommend.  I
didn't see any other people trying to answer it, perhaps because I sent a
note in, altering the subject line so that people could see that I thought I
had solved it and they didn't need to read the note unless they were
curious. I thought this was all in the original thread and would be obvious.
So far it only involves 3 people, you, me and Tyro.

At any rate, thank you for your reply.  I know that if a question is spotted
and replied to by an MS MVP, the correct answer will be forthcoming.

'Nuff said.  I don't want to clutter up the list any more.  I'm just not
sure where I violated "protocol" with the posting and I may be guilty again,
unintentionally.

Thanks.

The post I replied to with  "Would have been better if you had stuck with the
same thread" was not this thread.

You started a new one when you altered the Subject line to  " Solved it   Re:
