Hi,

I am trying to get data out of an rtf file into excel, however it is putting
all information into 1 column,...  Anyway to spread the data across multiple
columns just like it looks in the rtf file?  Please let me know.

Thanks,
Joan

Open the rtf file in WordPad and save it as txt.

Open Excel and then from Excel:

Data > Open External Data... > Open Data
and the submit the filename

Tell the Import Wizard how to separate the fields.
