Get rid of Automatic Links when opening

I received an excel workbook from someone else and it has our list pricing
on it, it has 4 tabs on the bottom with different pages showing different
pricing.  It was updated from another workbook within their company so it
has automatic links in it.  Obviously from where I am it will not connect to
their auto links.

The pop up is annoying and I'd like to know how to get rid of it without
copy and pasting all the info into another worksheet and reformatting all
the pages.  I need to edit this workbook and forward to my customers, I
rather not bother them with this Automatic update question.

Is there an easy way to stop this pop-up from showing when I open the
workbook?

Kat

Here is what the window says:
The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information in another
workbook.  Do you want to update this workbook with changes made to the
other workbook?
* To update all linked information, click Yes.
*To keep the existing information, click No.

Yes     No      (option buttons)

Go to Tools->Options, select the edit tab and uncheck "Ask to update
automatic links"

Going to Edit - Links - Then either Break Link or Startup Prompt would be
better.

Using the Tools - Options - Edit tab will affect ALL Excel documents
including any that you will want to automatically update.

In this case, I think Break Links might be better. All updatable values are
converted to values currently on screen and wont then update if the original
file is amended.
