Yep. Select the chart. This brings up Chart Tools on the ribbon. Select the
Format tab. Then Shape Styles, Shape Effects, Shadow.
Everything you had and more, in Excel 2003 is there in Excel 2007

Thanks for the note. However, that is not giving me the same thing. I think
Office 2003 offers the 2007 equivalent of linear left and linear right
combined. That is the effectI am missing here.
