MS Office Forum / Excel / New Users / March 2008open excel workbook
I recently upgraded from 2003 to 2007 and the issue just started happening after this. The issue is, when i open an excel document by double clicking it in the explorer, it opens excel, but no workbook. By clicking again on the document it opens ( or just minimize/maximize the excel windows also helps ) Tx, for help Lots of people have complained that when they doubleclick on a file in windows explorer, that the workbook doesn't seem to show up in xl2007. When I double click a workbook in Explorer in Windows XP SP2, if Excel is not running, Excel loads and opens the workbook. If Excel is running Excel just opens the workbook.
