Is it possible to fill an excel shape, circle, rectangle, autoshape
etc. with data from a cell or a name. I mean for it to actualy read
and display the data not just paste in as text. I cant see anything
so far but maybe that is a "trick"

Select your rectangle (say)
and type this in the formula bar:
=A1
Now type something in A1.

When I like do create smartart diagramm with texts for example from some
range?
