Can anyone tell me how to create a new number format so that the selected
dates (Dec 07) will appear only as the full names of the days of the week
(Sunday, Monday etc.)?
Thanks,
C J

It's called custom formatting. Excel help has several examples. Select the
cells with the dates and apply the custom format dddd

"dddd"

Three d's give you abbreviated day of week. 4 gives full spelling.

same with mmm and mmmm
