Hi, I've got some Excel tables in a spreadsheet and I'd like to add
data validation to some other cells so that only those values in the
table can be chosen.  I know how to do that where the list of choices
comes from a named range, but Excel won't let me refer to the table
name in the same fashion.  Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

AFAIK, lists for data validation *must* be in a range (named if on other worksheet)
or *typed/filled* within the reference edit box when list is selected for validation options (so)...

or... use a macro to "transform" your table-values into a "string" to fill the reference edit box...
or... find a way to "convert" your table into a single-column (named)range to assign to DV

if any doubts (or further information)... would you please comment ?
regards,
hector.
