Hi - how do I add 'SAMPLE ONLY' diagonally across a tab and have it somewhat
transparent?

I've tried pasting in a jpg of SAMPLE created using Viso, but that
background of the pic is not tranparent.

Try using WordArt from the Drawing toolbar with no fill
