Excel 2007.  When I insert a comment the little box that pops up says,
"Preferred Customer."

Where did that come from and how do I keep it from inserting itself in
my comment boxes?

It picks it up from a setting/option in excel.

Office button|excel Options, look for User Name (I don't recall what category
it's in).
