Hi,

I recieved an excel file from my client which is important to me. But
when I tried to open the xls file, Excel said "find unreadable
content" and all I got is some corrupt code. I need to recover the
file, does anyone has any ideas?

Hi,

Why not try Advanced Excel Repair at http://www.datanumen.com/aer/ ?
It recovers several important Excel xls files for me and is really
helpful!

You may want to find out the version of excel that your client is using and
compare that with the version that you're using.

If your client is using xl2007 and you're using xl2003 (or below), you can ask
him/her to save the file in the older version fileformat and resend it.

If that doesn't help, I'd ask the client to send me a new file.
