My doctor suggested I get a home blood pressure monitor and take a
reading every day or so. I put the data in a Word table and am amazed
at the variability.
I am wondering if someone can tell me what type of analyses I should
use to track trends and averages?
I'd appreciate any suggestions for how to process the data.
Is there something built into Excel?

All the functions and their calculations are built into Excel, but not in the
exact configuration you're looking for.
Have a look at these blood pressure tracking Templates fro the Office Template
Gallery.
