Charting Date Issue

Good Day:

I am using Excel 2002 SP3 and this will tip my hand and show how little I
know about the program.  I'm having a problem with charting.  I have a data
sheet tied to a chart.  The data sheet has all dates from 12-31-2007 through
6-30-2008.  I have been entering data all along and it is being charted
fine.  However, the dates across the category axis at the bottom of the
chart (and the chart) run out at about 5-6-2008, which is 54 days short of
my being able to chart the whole period.  I've experimented with date
settings to try to get the entire 6 month perios with no success.  Anyone?

Thanks,
pinger

Pinger,

Look at your data source for the chart.  To do that, right-click it, Source Data, Series
tab.  Make sure that the range for values and for category labels extends to where your 6-30
date is.

Earl:

Thanks for your reply.  Ok, the category labels extended to 6-30; the values
extended (bingo) to 5-5!!!
Thanks a million.  You folks are great.
