I have a workbook with a number of named ranges. I would like to list and
print the names and the assigned ranges. Is there a good way of doing this?

Yes, get a name manager from Jan Karel Pieterse's site here:

http://www.jkp-ads.com/Download.htm

It has the ability to display all the range names.

On a clean Worksheet, select A1 and go to Insert>Name>Paste
