Is it possible to paste just the subtotals from a filtered list.  I hav
tried to copy and paste the second level in outline view but when
paste I get the whole list rather than just the subtotals

Hi
after selection your data range try:
- hit F5 and click 'Special'
- choose 'Visible cells only'
- now copy and paste your data

Hi Howard

yes, - collapse it down to level 2 just like you did & select the range that
you want to copy & paste then
choose edit / go to & click on the special button
choose visible cells only
click Ok

now copy & paste as normal.
Let us know how you go

Cheers
