Conditional Mandatory Fields

Hi, I am in the process of creating an Infopath Form and in it are sections
that are hidden/shown based on initial criteria filled in by the user. The
problem is that some of these fields (in the hidden/shown sections) should
be mandatory. The problem I have is that if the section is not shown (due to
conditional formatting), and the user tries to submit the form, there is an
error that all the mandatory fields have not been filled in. The problem is
that if the section is not shown, then how do they fill them in? What I want
to achieve, is that a 'rule' is run - maybe when unhiding the section, that
will set the 'flag' of certain fields to be mandatory. This way if the
section is shown then a 'switch' is thrown to set these fields as needing
input.

Thanks for ANY help here!

Hello

you can try using this code to delete all the errors before you submit if
you are using C#,
thisXDocument.Errors.DeleteAll()

I didnt do that with a section, but with another field. If one field
("Check") was check and those other fields("Name","Date") were mandatory. To
do that, dont select the other fields as mandatory at first, but in the
Validata Data section add a rule like if "Check" is  check and "Name" empty.
And the same thing for the "Date" so like that they will become Mandatory if
"Check" is check, you can also as some error message if you want.
