Hi,

I have an infopath 2003 form that has an hyperlink, this hyperlink will open
a web site, on that web site there's a button that when clicked will invoke a
web service made by me and will pass a string parameter. I need to use this
string and then update a field that is located in my infopath form, How do I
do this?

Thanks,
PF

Hi Kalyan,

I've tried it, and although I've understood the concept and really think
this is the  way to do it, I'm getting an error while testing "Load a default
form by using ExternalApplication.New" - "Infopath cannot find or cannot
access the following file:
http://localhost/infopath/pub/GetData.asp?dataRequest=2".

I've noticed that this example uses JScript. I want to use c# and the visual
studio 2003 infopath toolkit do you know any walkthrough or example that
might help me with this?

Thanks and best regards,
PF

Hello

Try reading through the Infopath SDK available for free on MSDN site. It has
examples to try out
