Hi,

Would like to know whether there is any reference out there to show an
example:

1) Load an Infopath Form (and passing in parameters)
2) Connect to an external Web Service (something like at the Form Load event
or something)
3) Retrieve data from this Web Service (base on parameter above)
4) Prepopulate some data (e.g. An Employee Record)
5) User can change this record, and submit the changes to another Web
Service for the update

Trying very hard to find some reference from the internet, but seem can't
get any.

Thanks for your help

Hello

Search for Working with Dataconnections in Infopath . There are lots of
references available  on MSDN site too.
Read the link below

You may want to look at the Database Accelerator suite of Webservices as an
example.

There are suport documents and SDK's that could be helpful.
