Prepopulate a form

Ok.  There is the problem.  I have a travel expense report.  They report is
grid with the items to report as rows and the days of the occurance as
columns.  At the end of each row is the total for the trip.

I would like the header to be prepopulated with the day of the week based
off of the dates given for the trip.

Example if the person is gone from 8/6 to 8/9 I would like the columns to
populate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Is this possible?
