Hello is it possible to hide a control depending on who is filling out the
form in Infopath 2007.  I have an admins group and set a condition on the
control whereby if user is not equal to admin then hide the cotrol, but this
does not work.  Am I missing a trick somewhere?

Hi,

You can hide the control based on user role.
I think you are trying to hide control based on security group, not on a
particular user.

Yes this is the case, is this achieveable?  Or does it only work for a user
role?

Hi,

I think it is only possible based on user role not on a security group.

Hi,

You want to create based on group then you have to create new user role with
Group Names. Then you can hide the control depends on user role name (created
this role by group names). If will hide which user is not available in that
group.

Hope this helps you
