Hello,

I'm using a simple date picker field on my infopath form. I need the user to
be able to select the date but I would like to display the information in
"full day name + day of month" format, i.e.,

Given the date value (UK based): 22/08/2007 (22nd August 2007) then I would
like to show this as:

   Wednesday 22

On my form. Is there a simple way to provide this or extend the default list
of date picker formats?

   Many thanks,

   Chris.

Hi,

In Date picker properties, you have ‘Format’ option is there to which format
you want to save the date in your form.

Hope this helps you

Hi,

You want other than any format given in that options then it will give
validation error. We don’t have any other option to set any other format data
to date picket field. If you want to set that day name and date value only
then you have to use string data type.

Hope this helps you.
