Hi All,

Is there any way of customising the datepicker control for the browser
based forms?
I have designed a form which has a date picker control that displays
"todays" date by default.
Foe ex, if the date picker control displays date as "01-Jan-2006" and
if the user wants to take a pick up a date for Jan-2008, the user will
need to click for around 23-24 times on the date picker to reach to
Jan-2008 and then select some suitable date.

Is there any way by which we can avoid so many clicks for selecting
dates fro BROWSER BASED FORMs?

Thanks,
Paresh

Hi,

There is no way to customize the date picker but we have one feature
available in infopath 2007.
We can add a specific number of days to a date and display the results in a
control on a form by using the addDays and today functions.

check out this link,

Hello

If the User already know the date he wants,  he can directly type in the
date based on the format of the date present. This is much easier and now if
he clicks on the button it will show the respective month and the year.

I tried this out, but after typing the desired date and clicking the
button, it doesn't show me the desired month and year for the browser
based form :(

Hello

I tried the same in Browser based form and is working correctly.
You have to give the same format as the date picker allows
like for example enter MM/DD/YYYY then click the button it will take you to
the desired month and year
