Need help linking to a access database

So I have a table I want to link my infopath form to. There is a main text
box, where if you add data, I want several other textboxes on the infopath
form to populate with data based off of what is in the corresponding records
data in my database.

for instance say I have a table of animals, the main text box is animal type
(and the main column in my access table being the same). Now if I fill out
say 'Horse' in the main text box, it should reference the 'Horse' record in
my access database, and fill out the corresponding fields on my infopath form
such as color, size, speed, etc etc.

Any help on doing this? Or a good resource for that type of thing?

Try this article:

ction-secondary-data-source.htm

You must replace the drop-down list box with a text box.
