how to make a drop down list box

i am new in using Info path,just my second day.
i want to make a drop down list! i thought i managed. when i tried it, its
working but when i try to use the other drop down list the former list return
to its display value. please help me.
is there something wrong with my formatting?

Please provide some more information. What does this "other" drop down list
do? How did you create this drop down list? How are these two drop down lists
related to each other? If your first drop down is not retaining it's value.
Call a function in OnChange() event of the second drop down and set the first
drop down's value.
