I've recently made field additions to a template we are using and
published the template in a new location.  However, users are not able
to fill the new fields.  I checked the XML schema and can not find the
new fields in the schema.  Is there a way that I can make an update to
the schema to fix this issue?

Thanks,
J

Hi,

1.    Open your updated InfoPath form in design Mode.
2.    Select Tools --> Form Options.
3.    Click on “Advanced” Tab.
4.    Go to "Form Template Version" section
5.    Select “On Version Upgrade” dropdown value as “Automatically Upgrade
Existing Forms”.
6.    Save the form and publish your form again.

I think this will help you.
