I have not worked with a web form which has digital signatures but here are
some ideas.
You may want a couple different views. Then by the user switch to the
appropriate view. Have a read only or viewable section and a section which
cna be signed which have the same contents.
Just an idea.

I don't know how to make a section 'read only'. I dont think you can.
I have hidden the field if you are not supposed to sign it. However, this
is not my optimal solution - I would rather make it read-only so that a user
can see signatures and see that for needs signatures but they just cant do
anything with it.

In 2007 you can make a view read only but I am not sure what this does in the
browser.
Another option if you want to provide a view only is have submit conditional
where submit is disabled for certain users.
