Hi,

Is it possible to browse to a document, such as .doc file, located in a
SharePoint document library and attach that into a InfoPath 2007 form? If so,
a step by step guide would be great!

Thanks

Hello

Did you try using the file attachment control in the form. It does the same
thing that your are asking.

Hi Kalyan,

Yes, I understand that the InfoPath attachment control will allow the user
to browse to any file, the problem I am having is that I can only browse to
fixed, mapped or DFS drives. I'm simply not sure how to browse to a
SharePoint document library, what path or address do you type in?

Thanks, Kevin.

Hello

You have to type the address of the Sharepoint form library
for eg: if your form library address is
http://server4/Docs/TEST/Forms/AllItems.aspx
then type the site address as
http://server4/Docs/TEST/
while searching the form library. You can see all the documents in the TEST
document library
