Template Parts in custom control won't insert into template

Hi,
I've created 4 template parts which I want to insert into a form application
I'm working on.  I've created these template parts from scratch (blank) and
have successfully added them to my Custom Controls.  When I click on them to
insert into the form template, they don't appear - none of them do.  I have
other template parts in my Custom Controls which do insert properly.
Any ideas why these particular four don't appear?

Thanks!

Hello,

Where are the template parts located?  Are they on the network or your local
computer? My thinking is perhaps there are security issues with where the
template parts are located.  Also what features are available in the template
parts?  I notice that at the bottom of my Controls taskbar is the
notification "Some controls have been hidden based on the current
compatilbility settings" so it's possible the form you are using (i.e.
web-compatible) may not be able to use the template parts (i.e.
windows-compatible) on the form.

Other than that, you might have a nice little mystery on your hands :)

HTH

Gavin.

Hi,

The template parts are located on my local computer.
I've also checked the compatibility settings - everything is the same - both
on the form and the template parts (non web compatible).

I guess a mystery it is...

Thanks,

Hi,

Hmmm that is very strange.  Does it work on another PC?  Have you tried
creating one single template part using the same controls to see if they can
be loaded individually?

Gavin.

Hi,
I've tried opening them on another PC - no luck.  They can't be read, file
is unknown.
I've also tried creating a generic template part using the same controls and
after putting it in the custom controls, it inserts fine, on multiple forms,
multiple times.
I haven't tried opening the generic template part on another PC though. I'm
assuming it would be fine since it works on my local PC.
I'm really scratching my head on this one....

Thanks,

I'll have to join you in that head-scratching... latest Office 2007/Infopath
service pack installed?  Anything in the "Trust Centre" that looks strange?

Gavin.
