Is there anyway by using VBScript through a command button in the form to
delete a file that has been attached in a form and attach a new one located
on a share drive? I am currently using 2003 InfoPath.

So rather than attaching a new file through the interface you want a button
to do this?  How does it know which file to get?

Or do you want to have it attach a static file from the local machine?  That
can be done but it requires a full-trust, installed form.
