Best practice is not to let the user save the form themselves.

Are you aware of submit data connections?

Typically you would set up a submit to Sharepoint or a file share and then
setup the standard naming of the file. The users select the submit button or
your own button and the form is saved.

This way you know where all of your forms are and they all have a
standardized name.
