Thank you for looking, I am having all sorts of security and permission issues. What I would like to do is create a form in InfoPath 2003 that can be emailed (.xsn format). The user receives the form, fills it out and submits it. When the form is submitted I want it to publish the .xml data to a sharepoint site. Unfortunately what is happening is I can get the data to submit to a sharepoint site, but I can't send the .xsn file. I can send the form without a data connection to the sharepoint site, so how do I make it so I can email teh .xsn file but still have that connection to sharepoint? Thank you in advance for your assistance. -john Hi John You can have more than one submit if you use rules and specifiy each. Do the email users (everyone) have access to Sharepoint and the published location of the template? Yes, everyone has access to the Sharepoint site. In fact I have my desktop and laptop running, I am logged into the corporate system using the same ID and I can only open the form with the desktop, where it was created. I get permission errors when I try and open it on the laptop. The biggest thing is this is going to be an attempted process change where only internal users will be acessing the form, but if they get permission errors, even once, they will most likely abandon the process and revert to the old email method of just sending in random comments. Are you using the publish wizard to place the template where all the intended users have access? Also you need to specify the URL or UNC they will use to access it with. If this is been done then you need to make sure they can get to that location and open a new form.
