Offline forms

I have read that a user can fill out a form "offline" and then submit the
data later, even through email.  How does that work?  Does the email
recipient have to "submint" the data?

If i am right..it means you can fill the form and store the filled form in
your localdisk and email it whenever you connect to internet.
Infopath SDK and other samples that are shipped with the package has some
worked out example on this.
