GENERAL QUESTION ABOUT INFOPATH CAPABILITY

I am searching for an application that will do the following:

I will send out a simple for by email, the recipient fills out the form,
returns it to me by email and the data shows up in either an Excel or Access
database.

The problem is, the recipients cannot be asked to do anything more than hit
a submit button, because there are many people out there who don't know how
to attach docs, etc.  (I learned the hard way by sending out Adobe fillable
forms that needed to be attached to a return email!).

Is this an InfoPath capability?

InfoPath can do all that you require if the recipients have InfoPath.

They complete the form, the information is validated, and they click submit
and the email happens automatically.

Hi William,

Adding to Clay's input, you could also use InfoPath Forms Services:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/formsserver/FX100490391033.aspx

but you would need to have an installation available externally somewhere,
which could be cost-prohibitive.  This would mean that your users don't have
to have InfoPath installed on their machines.

Gavin.
