Hi everyone...

I'm a relative dunce when it computer to things of the technological
persuasion.  Give me a computer and an internet conncection, I'll
screw things up.

Which is why I'm coming to you.  I have been tasked with using
InfoPath to design Interactive forms for my company to use with the
public.  Ok, seems logical enough.  And I have a pretty good idea how
to go about this.  However, I know that I need to have InfoPath form
services running on my server.  Does anyone know how I would go about
telling if InfoPath Form Services is running on my server?

I know, your saying, why dont you ask your IT guy.  I will do just
that, but I have my doubts about the veractiy of a lot of the
information they state.  We are a small company and have outsourced
our IT services to a company who is more than eager to charge us for
everything..  So I'm wondering if there are some generic pointers that
anyone can throw out, where I can snoop around and see if InfoPath
Form Services is running.  We do have a SharePoint site running, if
thats any help..

Thanks..

Hello

You can find out by going into Sharepoint 3.0 Central Administration
You'll have a InfoPath Forms Services section at the Application Management
page. To go here, click on
Start -> Administrative Tools -> SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration and
choose the Application Management tab on the top of the page.
