Is it possible to put a autonumber field (for invoice #'s) in InfoPath?

Hi,

This is an FAQ. You have to be very clear what you want to do. It is
much more complex than it might at first appear.

Assuming that your form template is intended to connect to a database
such as SQL Server or Access, let the database look after the
autonumbering.

Dear Mr. Watt !

If  we have a invoice from a Share Point Portal Server 2003, it should be
for every user a strikt following number from "one" server machine.

So we only have to insert a counter ?

Do you have a .net 2003 script for the invoice-counter-field ?

Best wishes
