direct access to sharepoint document library

hi all,
  i got a situation. i need to store some documents directly into a
document library in a site under my sharepoint portal server. i don't want
to go through all the process of publishing. can anyone guide me in htis. i
want to know the path od web folder or how to access the folder in which the
documents are stored. i am writing code in C# using infopath template.
