This problem has been posted before by Delphine 1/4/2005. However, no answer
has been posted and I have the exact same problem and I realy need to know a
workaround for this problem.

Delphines post below:

I was following the Lab 9: ADO.NET DataSets in InfoPath in MSDN Library
Training labs.  The web service I built appears to work fine (followed the
test Web Service --> Invoke step).  However I got stucked with an error
message below when I tried to establish a data connection to the web service
(following the steps in the lab) in the InfoPath form:
/schema/element[2][@name =
'ReceiveDataSetResponse']/complexType[1]/sequence[1]/element[1][@name =
'ReceiveDataSetResult']/complexType[1]/sequence[1]/element[1]
Undeclared XSD element:'{http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}schema'.

Can someone please tell us how to workaround this?

Hi,

You can read this:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889494/en-us

it's a bug of infopath so I don't think you can't find a response to
your probleme.

Good read

Hi,

I found the same thing. Please make sure the IIS that host the web service
is using ASP.NET version 1.1
