Editing the XSF file

Just want someone to confirm that my way of doing this is the right way.
Unpacking the form template files is no problem using the menu command
on the File menu, but I *never* saw anything written about how to mend
them together into a form template again! My way is to open the XSF file
in design mode, then File -> Save As, and replacing the old XSN file. Is
this the right way?
